The Author Course Club is an 8-week virtual, real-time, cohort designed specifically to help amazing devs become outstanding published instructors.
In this select small group, made up of about 4-7 people and an instructor, we’ll spend our time together creating a 1- or 2-hour course that we’ll publish at the end of the cohort.
Based on availability indicated on the application below, we’ll select a specific day of the week and time to meet once a week over 8 weeks, 1 or 2 hour sessions.

- Wk 7: Marketing Strategies (Before and Post Launch)

I didn't intend to write a book and course. I filled out the writer application mostly out of curiosity. However, creating Fullstack D3 was a thoroughly enjoyable, fun process that really solidified my understanding of the topic.
I would never have been able to publish what I did without the newline team — the accountability is great, but I also would have thrown in the towel at any number of obstacles that popped up: the writing & typesetting process, updating code easily, not to mention the overwhelming idea of marketing.
I would definitely recommend that you at least fill out the application. Ultimately, I sold way more of my work than I expected! Plus, the compliments from my peers have been really amazing.
