## Understanding Layout Techniques: `Flexbox` and `Grid`

The question of which layout technique is superior often arises in web development circles. The answer is usually subjective and depends heavily on the specific requirements of the layout. In general-purpose layouts, certain techniques often prove more effective than others.

1.  Stack Pattern: Both `Flexbox` and `Grid` are suitable for creating the stack pattern. It is not a matter of superiority, but rather the one that aligns better with your layout requirements.
2.  Inline Cluster Pattern: `Flexbox` and `Grid` are capable of fulfilling the inline requirement. However, only `Flexbox` succeeds in meeting the cluster requirement, making it the recommended choice for this pattern.
3.  Split Pattern: While both `Flexbox` and `Grid` can implement the split pattern, `Grid` is simpler, yet `Flexbox` offers more responsive capabilities. Therefore, `Flexbox` generally emerges as the preferred choice.
4.  Cover Pattern: Both `Flexbox` and `Grid` can achieve this pattern with relative ease. However, when it comes to precision in conjunction with other elements, `Flexbox` takes the lead. Consequently, it is recommended for the cover pattern.
5.  Center Pattern: In the majority of cases for this pattern, neither `Flexbox` nor `Grid` were necessary. When they were used, however, both techniques proved equally effective. Therefore, the choice between `Flexbox` and `Grid` should be dictated by personal preference and the specific needs of the layout.
6.  Column Drop: This pattern can only be achieved using `Flexbox`, making it the obligatory choice.
7.  Grid Pattern: As the name suggests, the grid pattern can only be effectively implemented using CSS `Grid`.
